About the position

We are now looking for a Test Leader for our client, a global leader in innovative solutions for outdoor and construction needs. You will be working from the office based in Huskvarna.

Your daily tasks

The digital team within the Pro Robotics R&D department is responsible for DevOps of two digital services: Fleet Services and Uptime Center. Fleet is a system that enables professional customers to connect, track, and monitor their products, with real-time control specifically for Robotic Mowers.

As a Test Leader, you will take ownership of end-to-end testing for robotic mowers, digital services, and other connected products. You will also be responsible for testing digital services within the digital team. This role offers the opportunity for career growth and increasing responsibility over time.

The Fleet tribe consists of QA testers, automation testers in two development squads, and two system testers. The Robotic Mower System Test team includes a test team leader and six test engineers.

In this role, you will

• Develop and plan end-to-end testing activities for robotic mowers and digital services
• Plan testing activities within the Fleet tribe
• Improve test processes to ensure higher quality and efficiency
• Enhance test documentation, including test plans and test reports
• Ensure process adherence and foster collaboration with product teams for connected products
• Participate in hands-on testing activities alongside the digital system test team

Being meticulous with a strong focus on quality is essential. You should be communicative and able to collaborate across teams while also being target-oriented and analytical. An open-minded and curious approach, with a desire to develop in new technologies, will help you thrive in this role. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Verification or Software Engineering
• Experience as a test leader managing a team of testers
• At least three years of experience in testing digital services
• Interest in leading a test team and enabling high-quality testing
• Experience with test documentation for strategy, planning, and results
• Familiarity with test tools for digital development (e.g., Test Automation, Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman)
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience in IoT systems, connected devices, and BLE communication
• Experience in automation testing in live environments
• Background in integration testing for digital services and hardware
• Understanding of regression and release testing processes
• Knowledge of testing strategies for multi-generation hardware platforms

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-02-03. Start 2025-04-21.
