Are you at the beginning of your career or about to graduate within software development? Our client is now looking for a junior software tester with an interest in troubleshooting.

Working as a software tester

The System Test Group focuses on verifying the behavior of our client's Pro line robotic mowers, ensuring the mower meets all the defined requirements and aligns with the expectations of end customers.

Our client achieves this through continuous regression testing and spot testing functional areas after new implementations, using a combination of manual and automated test suites, as well as exploratory testing. Tests are conducted on customer-like installations, dedicated test fields with complete mowers, and also in virtual environments with simulators—depending on which is most suitable for the specific test.

This position is situated in Jönköping area.

Your Role

As a member of the team, your primary responsibility will be testing the Pro line robotic mowers. Depending on your previous experience and areas of interest, we will tailor your specific responsibilities to align with your strengths and allow you to grow. Since grass growth is essential for testing, the role will involve some travel to other test sites.

You are a curious person, intrigued by suspicious behavior, willing to learn about new technologies and methodologies. You have a strong ability to communicate both in conversations and text and is able to highlight details in your findings. You are a team player that are open for input that can put a different light on test result or ways to provoke issues, you see the value of sharing knowledge both within and outside the team.

Qualifications: • B.Sc. or higher degree in field of Software development, Embedded development, Testing, Electrical Engineering, or mechatronics. • Fluent and comfortable both in speaking and writing in English • Swedish driver’s license (B) Meritorious: • Fluent in Swedish • Experience in software development • Experience in test automation

Being a consultant at Nexer Tech Talent

You will be coached by a mentor at the client and by a consultant manager at Nexer Tech Talent. As a consultant, you will be well taken care of. After successful completion of the consulting assignment, the intention is that you will be offered employment with the client.
